I’ve always loved technology. I went to college and got a degree in Electrical Engineering, and then I got a corporate job as a “Digital Designer.” I loved the technical aspect of the work, but I didn’t like that I worked on circuits in a lab all day. When I was assigned to be the technical contact to the sales department for a telecom project…I knew I had found my niche.
Since then, I have loved being a translator between people and technology. I’ve been a Project Manager, Technical Support Director, Research Program Coordinator, and Web Portal Manager. But mostly, I’ve been a planner, problem solver, and process improver. I’ve had some great jobs in a variety of industries. But over time, it has become a struggle to go to a job every day that I wasn’t all that passionate about. I wasn’t always serving in a way that was meaningful and I didn’t feel like I had the freedom to live a life that included all the things that are important to me. Things like fitness, travel, cooking, and taking care of my relationships. My life felt out of balance.
Then I started having some health issues. I started investigating the mind-body connection. And I realized that I had to make some changes. I got certified as a personal trainer. I moved across the country. I found a naturopath, a therapist, and a mind-body coach.
The defining moment came when I traveled to Barcelona, Spain for vacation. I fell in love with the city…the ocean, the parks, the beach, and especially the food. I decided I had to live there. But how? I needed a way to take my work with me wherever I wanted or needed to go. It wasn’t long before I hired a coach who led me to discover the role of the Online Business Manager.
Now I help business owners manage projects, processes, operations, and technology for their businesses so they can have freedom and balance in their lives. I want to help the people who have been so helpful to me by taking the day-to-day running of their businesses off their plates.
